"Recently, I had the opportunity to get several out of town family members to come together here in Richmond for what was basically a small family reunion. As I could not accommodate them all at my home nor did I want the chore of caring for them all during their visit I diligently set out trying to find a venue that could take care of our needs. Not an easy task, especially when you find out that you cannot actually reserve a room at most, you are simply reserving the promise of a room. Fortunately for us all, I was referred to the Janice at the Virginia Cliffe Inn. Our stay was better than staying at a family members home. We shared the same house, some could stay up late and visit outside by the pond while others sat in the dining room while others retired early. The mornings found us all together in our robes and pajamas at a massive breakfast table with a breakfast that rivaled the finest restaurants and service that exceeded them. Throughout our stay we were able to coordinate catered wine and cheeses, dinners, lunches and more. I can’t say enough about how great our experience was."
